Calculate TKO Rate From a Fight Record

Use this TKO Calculator to turn a fight record into a technical-knockout percentage. The default result measures TKO wins as a share of all recorded fights. If you also enter total wins, the calculator shows a second percentage for the share of victories that ended by TKO. You can also compare two records or calculate the consecutive TKO wins needed to reach a target rate.

TKO Rate Formula

TKO rate (%) = TKO wins รท total fights ร— 100

The primary result uses total fights as the denominator. When total wins are supplied, TKO share of wins is calculated separately as TKO wins รท total wins ร— 100.

๐Ÿ’ก Keep the Record Convention Consistent

Some databases separate KO and TKO, while others report a combined KO/TKO method. Percentage pages also differ on whether they divide by all fights or only wins. Use the same source convention and denominator when comparing records.

TKO Calculator FAQ

How do you calculate TKO percentage?
For the calculator's primary rate, divide TKO wins by total fights and multiply by 100. For example, 10 TKO wins in 40 fights is a 25% TKO rate.
Should TKO percentage use total fights or total wins?
Both conventions can be useful, but they answer different questions. Total fights describes TKO frequency across the whole record; total wins describes the share of victories won by TKO. This calculator shows both when total wins are entered.
Does a TKO count the same as a KO?
A TKO and KO are different result labels, but some record sources group them together as KO/TKO. Enter the count exactly as your source reports it and use the same convention when comparing fighters.
Can TKO percentage predict a fighter's next result?
No. It summarizes past recorded outcomes. Opponent quality, ruleset, age, style, sample size, and many other factors are not captured by this percentage.
Why can an unmet 100% target not be reached in a finite number of future fights?
Each future TKO win increases both the TKO total and the total-fight denominator. If the current record includes any non-TKO fight, the ratio can approach 100% but cannot become exactly 100% after a finite number of added fights.
